Swiss Software Industry Survey

The software industry is an important engine of growth for advanced economies like Switzerland. Yet, we know little about the national software industry. The Swiss Software Industry Survey (SSIS) aims at gradually closing this gap.

The Swiss Software Industry Survey (SSIS) is conducted by the Institute of Information Systems at the University of Bern as part of a European collaboration project and is supported by inside-it.ch, ICTswitzerland, Swiss Made Software, Simsa, ALP ICT, Topsoft, and Sieber & Partners. The SSIS is headed by Prof. Dr. Jens Dibbern and Dr. Thomas Huber and forms the basis of the dissertation of Thomas Hurni. At the same time, the SSIS replaces the established Swiss Software Industry Index [SSII] conducted by the Bernese consulting firm, Dr. Pascal Sieber & Partners AG.
